How are things going for you recently?

Things have been pretty good on my end. I feel like I’m working hard and playing harder, so I can’t complain.

What have you been up to?

I just moved to New York City for grad school so I’ve been spending a lot of time getting to know my surroundings and digging into the music scene here. It’s such a chaotic place and I love feeding off that energy.

If you could go back in time, what musical era would you choose to experience? Why?

Chicago in the 90s. The inception of ghetto house & footwork, it doesn’t get better than that, right? I can’t even imagine what the club would’ve felt like back then, people really knew how to make the room shake.

Tell us a bit about the mix.

This mix is an honest reflection of where I’m at – I wanted it to feel like going on some otherworldly adventure. It has lots of heavy bass punctuated with serene moments filled with synths and beautiful vocals. I love those kinds of juxtapositions.

What’s your favourite track in the mix? How did you discover it?

Bungalovv- Glued Armor by Genome 6.66 Mbp, which I discovered while browsing soundcloud. It has the craziest progression and culminates with this feeling like the world is about to end, it’s so magical.

Finally, who else would you like to see in the series?

I’d love to see my friend ODERA in the series, she’s a DJ and artist with a lot to say and a unique flair.
