How are things going for you recently?
Everything is going fine. I am back on the road after 1 and a half years. It feels good to be doing this again.
What have you been up to?
The usual stuff. Making music and collaborating with artists from different regions of the world. I am currently in Berlin after spending a few weeks in Lisbon post my performance at Sonar Lisbon. I have a couple of gigs in Amsterdam, and Marseille before I go back to Ghana.
If you could go back in time, what musical era would you choose to experience? Why?
Stone Age Era. I Just want to experience how humans made music tangible in that era.
Tell us a bit about the mix.
The Mix is a compilation of my official releases as Jowaa and Gafacci mixed with some of my edits.
What’s your favourite track in the mix? How did you discover it?
Gypsy Woman Gafacci Edit. I have already heard the song play on the radio a couple of times. While in Berlin a friend asked me to make an edit of Crystal Waters’ Gyspy woman. That’s how I discovered how huge the song is.
